The Ukraine authorities say they have seized back control of the regional administration building in the eastern city of Kharkiv from pro-Russia separatists. They say they hope buildings in Luhansk and Donetsk will be freed shortly as well. On Monday, pro-Russia demonstrators seized government buildings in the three cities.  
Earthquake of 6.1 rocks Chile
Another earthquake, registering 6.1 on the Richter scale, occurred in northern Chile this morning at 8:43 Peruvian time, according to the news publication Peru21. According to the University of Chile’s Seismological Center, the epicenter of the quake was offshore, about 85 kilometers west of the town of Alto Hospicio. Two additional tremors with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale occurred just four minutes afterwards, in the same area of the Pacific Ocean.

The navies of Iran and Pakistan plan to hold joint military exercises in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, Iran's state news agency said on Sunday. Several Pakistani naval vessels, including a warship and a submarine, docked at the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas on Saturday, the IRNA news agency said, citing an Iranian Navy statement.

More earthquakes reported south of Langston
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the Oklahoma Geological Survey (OGS) are reporting several earthquakes near Langston Sunday morning. The most recent quake was reported at 10:04 a.m. Sunday morning. The epicenter was three miles south of Langston and nine miles east of Guthrie.  
Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike
Ukraine has rejected moves by Russia to almost double the price of Russian gas supplies to the country and threatened legal action. Ukraine's interim PM, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said Moscow's hikes were a form of "economic aggression". His energy minister said Ukraine would try to negotiate a gas deal, but warned that if talks failed Ukrainians should prepare for Russia to cut off supplies.  
Pakistani couple get death sentences for blasphemy
A Pakistani Christian couple have been sentenced to death for blasphemy after allegedly sending a text message insulting the Prophet Muhammad. The couple, named as Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kausar, were found guilty of sending the text message to the imam of their local mosque. Allegations of blasphemy against Islam are taken very seriously in Pakistan.

At least 20 Iraqi soldiers were killed on Saturday, most of them upon entering a house rigged with explosives northwest of the capital, security officials said. Militants last week overran the house in the town of Garma, 30 km (20 miles) northwest of Baghdad, which had previously been used as an army post, officials said.

Series of small earthquakes rock Oklahoma in record seismic activity
Earthquakes rattled residents in Oklahoma on Saturday, the latest in a series that have put the state on track for record quake activity this year, which some seismologists say may be tied to oil and gas exploration. One earthquake recorded at 3.8 magnitude by the U.S. Geological Survey rocked houses in several communities around central Oklahoma at 7:42 a.m. local time. Another about two hours earlier in the same part of the state, north of Oklahoma City, was recorded at 2.9 magnitude, USGS said.
